The Objectives
The aims and objectives of the Society are the following:
To be the representative organization of nutrition professionals from India and abroad.
To disseminate findings of research in nutrition and allied sciences through annual meetings, symposia seminars and workshops.
To motivate young nutritionists to take up research in nutritional sciences through awards and prizes.
To publish the proceedings of the annual meetings and symposia.
To honour scientists of national and international repute through its prestigious awards namely ‘Gopalan Oration’ and ‘Srikantia Memorial Lecture’
