The Nutrition Society of India (NSI), established in 1967, is an organization dedicated to keep abreast of the latest developments in the basic and applied aspects of science of Nutrition. The society continues to analyze issues related to the diverse aspects of nutrition. The society activities involve scientists, programmers and policy makers throughout the country and abroad who are working in the field. Through its annual conference, the society provides a forum for new ideas, encourages innovations, recognizes important research findings, increases awareness of the latest survey data and promotes action programmes.
